Drain Cleaning DIY TIP

If you have a minor clog that slows your water from draining, you can do this DIY trick to clear it right up. You are going to need two ingredients; vinegar and baking soda. The combination of the two makes a chemical reaction that will dissolve and push through whatever is in your drains that are causing the problems.

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Start out by boiling a pot of hot water and pour it down the drain.

  2. Then pour a half cup of baking soda down the drain.

  3. Wait a couple of minutes and then pour a cup of vinegar mixed with boiling water down the drain. Plug the drain, so the reaction stays down in the drain.

  4. Come back in five to ten minutes and pour more boiling water down the drain.

After all of that, you should have a perfectly working drain! It is as simple as that!
